About This Policy
This policy covers visits to abaswma.org, operated by Applied Behavioral Analysis Services (ABAS). For how ABAS uses and protects health information during care, see our Notice of Privacy Practices on this site's Privacy page.
What We Collect on This Site
ABAS collects very little information through this site, by design.
- No analytics or tracking. This site uses no analytics tools, no advertising trackers, and no social-media tracking.
- No cookies set by us. The site does not set cookies to identify or track you.
- No third-party embeds. We serve every page from our own site, including fonts, and load nothing from advertising or analytics networks.
- No accounts. The site has no visitor accounts, and its pages collect no information about you as you browse.
As with any website, our hosting provider receives the technical information your browser sends when it requests a page. We do not use that information to identify or track visitors.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone visiting this site, including children.
When You Contact Us
The site's contact options are a phone number and email addresses. If you email us, we use the information you provide to respond, and we handle it under our internal policies.
Standard email is not a secure channel for detailed health information. For questions about the learner's care or records, we recommend calling.
Forms
Whatever the form, it collects only the information you enter, and ABAS uses that information for the purpose stated on the form.
Online forms, such as our intake, contact, and school inquiry forms, run on our forms system, linked from this site. Each delivers what you enter to ABAS, and we handle health-related information you submit under our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Downloadable forms, such as the referral form, are PDF documents you download and complete off-line. The site collects nothing when you download them.
The anonymous reporting form is at abaswma.org/anonymous. It does not ask for your name or contact information, and it sets no cookies and uses no third-party services. Submissions go to our compliance review process. If you include identifying details in a submission, they become part of the record. Reporter identity is protected to the extent permitted by law.
Links to Other Sites
Some pages link to other organizations, such as advocacy groups, crisis resources, and health plans. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Changes and Questions
If ABAS adds a tool that collects visitor information, such as analytics, we will update this policy first. The current version and its effective date appear at the bottom of this document.
For questions about this policy, call 413-461-7120 or write to Applied Behavioral Analysis Services, 432 State Street, Belchertown, MA 01007.
This policy is also available as a PDF document.
Notice of Privacy Practices
THIS NOTICE DESCRIBES HOW MEDICAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU MAY BE USED AND DISCLOSED AND HOW YOU CAN GET ACCESS TO THIS INFORMATION. PLEASE REVIEW IT CAREFULLY.
Read the Notice of Privacy Practices (PDF)
The notice explains how ABAS uses and protects your health information, the rights you have over that information, and how to file a complaint. The PDF is the complete and controlling document. Every client receives it at the start of services, and a paper copy is available on request.
